Providing dry food packs and beverages to 2,500 mothers, along with organized alms-giving programs to support vulnerable families.

The main objective of this project is to provide dry food parcels to 2,500 mothers living in rural communities across the Anuradhapura region. The distribution takes place in front of the sacred Ruwanweli Maha Chaithya, together with a traditional alms-giving ceremony conducted at the same time. This meaningful Pinkama is organized annually on the Full Moon Day of Vesak, bringing spiritual merit and essential support to families in need.

The initiative is carried out by the Little Hand Foundation with the heartfelt support of Sri Lankans living abroad as well as our generous local donors. Their continued contributions have enabled us to sustain this compassionate service for many years.

We warmly invite your ongoing support, as together we can continue uplifting vulnerable communities and preserving the spirit of generosity and compassion.

Project Status: Ongoing since 2015
